Preview — The Rookie Season 7 Episode 7: It’s Celina’s Last Day as a Rookie
John gives Celina one final test as a rookie on The Rookie Season 7 Episode 7, “The Mickey.”
It’s unclear if that test will arise during what appears to be an investigation of an armed robbery, where Ricky Whittle’s character seems to be a suspect. Regardless, it’s exciting that Celina is finally wrapping up her time as a rookie — two seasons after she joined the team on The Rookie Season 5 Episode 3, “Dye Hard.”
Elsewhere, it can’t be a coincidence that William Robert Bennett — otherwise known as the Hammer — returns on the same episode where John grappled with a new change in his relationship with Bailey.
The Hammer last appeared in the aptly titled The Rookie Season 6 Episode 2, “The Hammer,” where he left an impression. Not only does he fight Tim for Bailey’s engagement ring, but that fight also leads Tim to kneel in front of Lucy with the ring.
Now, Bailey has moved out of her and John’s house, and Tim is giving John advice about fighting for the ones you love — advice Tim wishes he had taken with Lucy.
Meanwhile, Bailey will make a new friend on “The Mickey,” and the photos suggest that person could be Miles. Plus, Lucy entrusts Seth with an undercover assignment, but there aren’t any photos teasing how that will go.
All of that and more — more Nyla, James, Angela, and Wesley scenes! — awaits fans when The Rookie Season 7 Episode 7, “The Mickey,” airs on Tuesday, February 18, at 9/8c on ABC.
