The Rookie Season 8 Episode 10 Preview: His Name Was Martin
The Rookie Season 8 Episode 10, “His Name Was Martin,” finds Nolan, Harper, and Miles in an unexpectedly dangerous situation.
The promo video shows them all responding to a “routine” call for a wellness at Westview Hospital, which shut down last year in the show’s universe. The location last appeared on The Rookie Season 7 Episode 15, “A Deadly Secret.”
A group of people that someone calls “zombies” ambushes the trio, pushing Nolan, Harper, and Miles into the abandoned hospital. The additional hitch is that Dash, who requested a ride-along with Nolan, is missing.
The Rookie Season 7 Episode 18, “The Good, The Bad, and The Oscar,” introduced Dash as a drone enthusiast. It looks like his interests have shifted to a handheld camera for “His Name Was Martin.” Relatedly, some of the episode’s promo shows The Rookie using found footage to tell its story.
There’s only one photo from Bailey’s covert investigation for Grey, so there’s not much to speculate about it. The same is true about the photos of Tim, Lucy, and Celina working together. It’s still exciting to see, though!
Meanwhile, the tension is palpable between Grey and Luna in their one photo. Is that photo from one of their first scenes together after Grey discovers that Luna has feelings for Dr. Oliver Ashton on The Rookie Season 8 Episode 9, “Fun and Games?” Only time will tell, but hopefully, they will work it out.
