9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 14 Preview: Sick Day
9-1-1: Contagion, the two-part thriller event, begins with 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 14, “Sick Day.”
Usually, these multi-part events are designated for the beginnings and endings of the seasons, but 9-1-1 Season 8 is mixing things up.
This time, the 118 responds to a call where a lab on fire, but, as Maddie relays to Bobby in the trailer, this building “is designated for lethal and exotic viruses.”
Athena, Buck (Seemingly the only member of the 118 who isn’t inside the building when an explosion traps them inside), and the rest of the team running point must decide what to do. If they open the doors to the building before containing any of those aforementioned viruses, they could release them to the public.
It does seem like 9-1-1 will build up to this explosive event, as the photos show the 118 responding to what appears to be a car accident involving a bus. It’s hard to imagine they would do that after being trapped in the lab, especially because “Sick Day” is the beginning of the two-episode thriller.
Plus, Buck and Ravi will go out for drinks again after Buck kept talking about Eddie on 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 11, “Holy Mother of God.” As for Eddie, there’s no sign of him in the photos or promo video for “Sick Day,” but there are a few photos of a celebratory Maddie, Chimney, Jee-Yun, Hen, Karen, Denny, and Mara.
