What to Expect from Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 9: Barking Bad
After a dog show judge’s murder, Max and Ellis are in for a biting case on Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 9, “Barking Bad.”
The dynamic duo must investigate a traveling dog competition to find the killer. As Max aptly says in the promo video, “We gotta sniff out the truth.”
The promo video for “Barking Bad” teases that Max and Ellis’s quest for answers won’t be so straightforward. Apparently, the deceased judge was “caught up in the criminal underworld.” One character specifies that the “competition brings out the worst in people.” Could that competitive arena lead someone to that dark place?
The photos for this Wild Cards episode suggest that Max and Ellis have plenty of case-of-the-week guest stars to question to get to the bottom of this crime.
Fittingly, Max appears to be taking on another undercover persona. This time, she will have a new partner by her side instead of Ellis. The adorable — and stolen, which Ellis reminds Max of in the promo video — pup from Wild Cards Season 2 Episode 5, “Catch Me If You Con,” will make her grand return.
Meanwhile, “Barking Bad” will also mark the return of Jonesy as Ellis’s beloved cat, Marc, as they move in with Max and Ricky while the boat is under repair.
Wild Cards‘s promo video steers clear of spoiling anything from this side of the episode. Alternatively, the photos suggest that Marc and Ricky will get along, and Max and Ellis (and Ricky?) will have a candlelight dinner.
