What to Expect from 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 12: Disconnected
Members of the 118 family, particularly Eddie and Maddie, try to adjust to their respective situations on 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 12, “Disconnected.”
For Eddie, that adjustment comes after his move.
He decides to leave the 118 to be closer to his son Christopher on 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 8, “Wannabes,” and makes the move from Los Angeles, California, to El Paso, Texas, on 9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 10, “Voices.”
9-1-1 Season 8 Episode 11, “Holy Mother of God,” focuses more on Buck’s reaction to Eddie’s move — as well as Bobby’s relationships with his mother and brother. So, “Disconnected” is the first time that the show catches up with Eddie, Christopher, and Eddie’s parents in Texas on-screen.
The photos tease family meals, surprise presents, and what appears to be Eddie doing something with his truck. It’s challenging to decipher whether he’s buying a new truck, trading his in for something else, or just chatting with a car salesperson. That’s for 9-1-1 to answer on Thursday!
Meanwhile, the 118 helps a pizza delivery man named Ozzie, portrayed by Supernatural‘s Rob Benedict. The promo video shows that the team will also respond to a structural fire in a high-rise building. Unfortuantely, the 118 may run into problems when it comes to communication with Maddie through dispatch.
After the traumatic event on “Voices,” this 9-1-1 episode finds Maddie experiencing night terrors. She is also dealing with the fact that she may have returned to her triggering work environment too soon.
