A tourist activity leads Elsbeth to investigate an old case on Elsbeth Season 2 Episode 14, “Scenes From an Italian Restaurant.’
On “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant,” Elsbeth does a little NYC site-seeing with Teddy and Roy. The trio take a tour of famous New York crime scenes where Elsbeth hears about a mob hit that took place at a family restaurant.
True to form, hearing about this case raises questions for Elsbeth, specifically about the restaurant’s owner, Pupetta Del Ponte. Del Ponte is played by guest star Alyssa Milano, who appears in the promo, to have a New York accent straight out of a classic gangster movie.
We’ll have to see if her efforts to cover her tracks and keep her involvement in the murder a secret are more subtle than her accent.
Elsewhere, Michael Emerson makes another appearance as Judge Crawford. When we last saw him he was making veiled threats against Elsbeth and the woman who was framed for the murder he committed.
On “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant,” his vendetta against Elsbeth hasn’t softened, as he makes himself an obstacle in the investigation.
