Preview — The Rookie Season 7 Episode 5: The Team’s Search Continues
The team continues searching for the serial killer on The Rookie Season 7 Episode 5, “Til Death.”
The Rookie Season 7 Episode 4, “Darkness Falling,” reveals that Harrison Novak has a copycat. That same person injected Nyla with a paralytic agent. “Til Death” will follow Nyla as she struggles with the aftermath of the attack.
The promo video shows Sergeant Grey telling Nyla, “He knows we’re close. He won’t risk another abduction any time soon.” Understandably, Nyla wants to be ready regardless. So, The Rookie: Feds‘s Brendon Acres and Antoinette Benneteau are sticking around for another episode to help with the investigation.
Meanwhile, “Til Death” will revive some questions about Jason Wyler. Despite him leaving Los Angeles for Detroit to outrun a mercenary, The Rookie‘s promo video suggests that he may be back with a vengeance.
Nolan starts the video appreciating a return to “normalcy,” only to end it racing to Bailey, who appears to be hit by a speeding car. Presumably, this intense scene occurs outside the hospital, as the photos show Bailey talking with Luna Grey.
Elsewhere, Lucy’s relationship with Seth will take a turn, which is all but expected as his apparent lies pile up. Plus, the photos tease that Mile will see a familiar face at the station, and Smitty will cross paths with “a vending machine supplier and suspect named Glasser,” per TV Line.
The outlet confirms that Fringe‘s Seth Gable, who plays Glasser, will be on The Rookie Season 7 in a multi-episode arc — some of which evidently includes Nyla.
