Preview — Suits: LA Season 1 Episode 1: A Brand New Spin-Off

Almost six years after fans said goodbye to USA Network’s critically acclaimed series Suits, NBC continues the legacy with a new spin-off, Suits: LA.

Set in the same universe as its predecessor, Suits: LA follows a new set of characters. At the helm is Ted Black, portrayed by Stephen Amell, a former prosecutor from the East Coast who has built a new law firm in L.A., specializing in criminal and entertainment law.

On Suits: LA Season 1 Episode 1, “Seven Days a Week and Twice on Sunday,” Ted Black must prepare to work with an unfortunate, familiar face when he and his partner’s firm are forced to merge with his ex’s firm. Meanwhile, fellow associates Erica and Rick go head-to-head to secure a position at Ted’s firm.

The series stars Stephen Amell as Ted Black, Josh McDermitt as Stuart Lane, Lex Scott Davis as Erica Rollins, Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodsen, Victoria Justice as Dylan Pryor, and Troy Winbush as Kevin.

While the newest Suits spinoff won’t center on any previous fan-favorite characters, Gabriel Macht’s return as Harvey Specter has been confirmed for a three-episode arc.

Suits: LA premieres on Sunday, February 23rd, at 9/8c.

Episode Description:

Attorney Ted Black and partner Stuart Lane are about to merge with a firm run by Ted’s ex; associates Rick and Erica vie for positions in the firm, but when the merger hits a snag, Ted, a former prosecutor, must step into a role he holds in contempt.
