Suits LA Trailer Teases Big Cases, New Guest Stars, and Harvey Specter Connection
Stephen Amell stars as Ted Black, the self-proclaimed “best attorney in the country,” on Suits LA.
NBC unveiled another look at the Los Angeles-set Suits spinoff series. The new footage shows Stuart Lane (Josh McDermitt), Ted’s friend and colleague, telling him they’re “about to have the largest firm in the city.”
What follows is a glimpse at what viewers can expect from the show: high-stakes cases where people lie, cheat, and “do whatever they can to win.” Suits LA is set to premiere on Sunday, February 23, at 9/8c on NBC.

The Suits LA entire description reads as follows:
Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while we slowly unravel the events that years ago led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.
The trailer, set to Ima Robots’ “Greenback Boogie,” also reveals a connection to Suits. More specifically, it shows direct ties from Amell’s Ted Black to Suits‘s Harvey Specter. Harvey is described as a person “from the old days” who is the only person cockier than Ted. “That’s why I liked him,” Ted replied.
Luckily for Suits fans and prospective Suits LA ones, there’s more than a chance that Harvey and Ted will cross paths on the spinoff series. Deadline exclusively reported in November 2024 that Gabriel Macht will reprise his role for a three-episode arc. Macht teased his return on Instagram.

The Suits LA trailer also provides a closer look at Lex Scott Davis as Erica Rollins and Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodson. A competition appears to brew between them as Ted appoints them Co-Heads of Entertainment.
As for entertainment, Suits LA has no shortage of it among its guest stars. The show’s pilot alone will feature Victoria Justice, Kevin Weisman, and a posthumous performance by John Amos, per Deadline‘s exclusive reporting. While Justice and Weisman play fictional roles, Amos will appear as himself.
As previously reported, a Suits offshoot series was announced to be in the works at NBCUniversal in October 2023. By July 2024, NBC ordered Suits LA to series.
Suits creator Aaron Korsh returns as a writer and executive producer on Suits LA. David Bartis, Doug Liman, Gene Klein, Anton Cropper, Genevieve Sparling, Rick Muirragui, and Jon Cowan are also executive producers. UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, produces the show.
