And, if Molly Brown captures even a fraction of Jennifer Carpenter’s foul-mouthed charm as sister Deb, we’re in for a treat. The sibling relationship is a highlight of the original series, and the scene possibilities are endless.

The Dexter: Original Sin Season 1 Episode 1 synopsis hints at a health scare for Harry, and my money’s on this being the catalyst for Dexter’s first kill. We’ve heard about Nurse Mary before, but seeing it play out in full? That’s going to be a game-changer.

What’s particularly intriguing is how the new series seems to be weaving in elements from Dexter’s future in Iron Lake. By introducing an ‘Iron Lake Doctor,’ the series hints at bridging Dexter’s past with his future, offering viewers a comprehensive look at his evolution.
