Preview — Chicago P.D. Season 12 Episode 8: Torres’s Secret is Out

Chicago P.D., Previews

Chicago P.D. Season 12 Episode 8, “Penance,” is the fall finale and finally pushes Torres to tell the Intelligence Unit about his relationship with Gloria. This revelation might not be taken by his teammates the way he expected.

If Voight might have been forgiving of what happened between Torres and the CI at one point, this is definitely not the time. Torres jeopardized the case by stopping them from catching Gloria and Cook in the middle of a drop. Now, they are exposed.

But will this affect Burgess’ job as well? Or will Torres lie to protect her?

After Burgess’s promotion, she and Voight (and the audience, too) got the feeling that the Deputy Chief would keep a close eye on the Intelligence Unit. Even though they don’t know why, he had a particular interest in Burgess throughout her training and returned her to the unit against the recommendation.
