Previews, The Equalizer

The last time the world saw Robyn McCall, she was adjusting to the idea of her best friend pulling away from the job and the man she loved moving across the country. Now, The Equalizer Season 5 Episode 1, “The Lost Ones,” finds Robyn doing the job on her own.

Even though Harry is still working with her, how helpful can it be having him on the other side of the computer? McCall needs someone who will show up for her and isn’t afraid to fight when things get dangerous.

Even if fighting the bad guys gets tough on her own, Robyn understands that Mel needs time away to heal. It will be interesting to see how their friendship works now that they cannot always talk shop. But seeing how Delilah and Mel navigate their friendship will be just as interesting.

If missing her best friend in action wasn’t enough, Robyn must learn to navigate a new reality in which Dante is in Los Angeles working his new job. Can the two of them handle a long-distance relationship? Or will the brief moment they spent together be all there is to their relationship?

Now that Dante is gone, Miles seems to be stepping back into the picture. Could he win Robyn’s heart back now that she feels lost and alone?
