On Call Adds Lori Loughlin and Eriq La Salle, Sets Premiere Date on Prime Video

On Call, a half-hour police drama, will premiere on Prime Video in 2025.

The series stars Pretty Little Liars‘s Troian Bellisario as the “hard-charging but protective veteran officer” Traci Harmon and The Good Doctor‘s Brandon Larracuente as the “ambitious” rookie, Alex Diaz, on patrol in Long Beach, California. 

On Call uses “a mixture of bodycam, dash-camera, and cellphone footage to create a cinema verité effect. The show, which is Wolf Entertainment’s first scripted streaming series, premieres all eight episodes of its debut season on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Prime Video released first-look photos of the innovative series that promises to explore “the morality of protecting and serving a community.”

On Call will see Traci struggle “to find her place in the department while training the next generation of officers.” At the same time, Alex “grapples with holding onto his optimistic outlook as he realizes the challenges he’ll face in today’s climate,” per Prime Video’s synopsis.

The series also stars ER‘s Eriq La Salle as Sergeant Lasman, Fuller House‘s Lori Loughlin as Lieutenant Bishop, and Tulsa King‘s Rich Ting as Sergeant Koyama. 

La Salle also serves as an executive producer and director for On Call.

Bellisario celebrated the show’s premiere date on Instagram, writing, “So excited to finally be able to share a first look into “On Call.” This exciting new drama, with the most incredible cast and crew, drops on Jan 9th on Amazon Prime!”

Larracuente shared his own Instagram post, writing, “Couldn’t be more proud of this one. Here is a first look at #OnCall coming soon to @primevideo.” Wolf Entertainment commented, “We’re ready.”
