CBS ‘Ghosts’ Cast Reunites as Filming for Season 4 Gets Underway
Woodstone Mansion is one step closer to reopening its doors.
According to ACTRA, the hit supernatural sitcom Ghosts started filming Season 4 on July 22, with the cast taking to social media this week to commemorate the milestone together.
Rose McIver, who plays Samantha, revealed the first glimpse of our ensemble back in costume on her Instagram. The actress appropriately named this year’s group shot “The Fourth Supper.”
If seeing our fav problematic poltergeists back in character and ready for a whole new season of spirited shenanigans isn’t already everything, McIver revealed she didn’t return to set alone.
After knocking out an entire season of Ghosts while pregnant, McIver has welcomed a baby girl to her family.
In a story posted to her Instagram, the actress shared a sweet message the crew had left on her trailer door: “Please do *not* knock (baby Chloe might be sleeping).”
Does it get any cuter than that?
In addition to an onslaught of goofy videos and photos from the set hitting social media (we’re so back!), CBS treated us to a premiere date for Season 4.
Richie Moriarty and Betsy Sodaro, while appearing on After Midnight, revealed that fans should clear their calendars for October 17.
Indeed, the season premiere will air at 8:30/7:30 c on CBS that crisp fall day. Our beloved spirits are back just in time for Spooky Season and balance has been restored to the TV networks.
Additionally, a small gaggle of the Ghosts cast will also make a quick trip from Woodstone Mansion to San Diego for a Comic-Con panel on Saturday, July 27.
CBS has confirmed Utkarsh Ambudkar (Jay Arondekar), Rebecca Wisocky (Hetty Woodstone), Richie Moriarty (Pete Martino), and Román Zaragoza (Sasappis) will be in attendance to discuss that Season 3 cliffhanger and what scares they have planned for Season 4.
In our recent interview with Danielle Pinnock, who plays Alberta, the actress confirmed she is just as curious as we are about Patience and what Isaac’s unexpected dirt nap means for upcoming episodes.
“The thing that I keep asking the showrunners is, in Season 4, do we now all go into the dirt? And other other ghosts? And what does that look like? It’s just gonna be one big Blair Witch Project episode. That’s really what I want to want to know,” Pinnock revealed.
Fans in attendance can visit Paramount’s The Lodge activation for a special Ghosts-themed experience — the Woodstone Mansion’s Olfactory Atelier.
Step into an enchanting perfume apothecary in the infamous Woodstone living room, brimming with Easter eggs from the show. Also, essence chemists will be on hand to showcase the offsite’ activation’s curated collection of perfumes.
Best of all, each perfume will pay homage to the different spirits from the show and allow fans to take home the scent of their choice.
Whether you can make it to Comic-Con or not, celebrate the fact that Ghosts will be haunting up new hilarity soon.
