Emmys 2024: Nominees include ‘Shōgun,’ ‘The Bear,’ and ‘Only Murders in the Building’

Nominations for the 76th annual Primetime Emmy® Awards were announced today by Sheryl Lee Ralph and Tony Hale, along with Academy Chair Cris Abrego.

Among this year’s nominees are Shōgun, The Crown, The Bear, and Only Murders in the Building, among others.

Shōgun holds this year’s top spot with 25 Emmy nominations. Meanwhile, The Bear set a new record for nominations in a single year in the Comedy category with 23. (That record was previously held by 30 Rock with 22 nominations in 2009.)

Only Murders in the Building isn’t far behind, with a total of 21 nominations. True Detective: Night Country leads the Limited Series or Anthology category with a total of 19 nominations.
