Preview — Abbott Elementary Season 3 Episode 9: Janine Helps Gregory with a Former Student
Abbott Elementary returns from a March Madness-induced mid-season hiatus with an episode that gets back to the basics — with an overbearing Jacob, and a Janine/Gregory team-up.
Our favorite will-they, won’t-they pairing is the star of Abbott Elementary Season 3 Episode 9, “Alex,” as Gregory asks Janine for help with one of her former students.
With Janine’s placement at the school district, she and Gregory have had the luxury of avoiding their awkward attempts to establish a relationship. Could “Alex” be the thing to bring their unsaid feelings to a breaking point?

Nonetheless, any time spent with these two is sure to be an adorable spectacle.
As for Jacob, the boy is getting on his co-worker’s nerves again. To his shock, his frequent emails to his co-workers were not well received. Even worse, his colleagues haven’t been writing their own replies to his emails.
Either they have pulled in some familiar ghostwriters (Mr. Johnson, but Tariq would also be a great option). Or, maybe Abbott Elementary sees an opportunity to touch on the AI issues schools face with generative chat apps.
