Preview — The Rookie Season 6 Episode 3: Trouble in Paradise

John and Bailey’s scenic honeymoon becomes an active crime scene on The Rookie Season 6 Episode 3, “Trouble in Paradise.”

After the happy couple tied the knot on The Rookie Season 6 Episode 2, “The Hammer,” the newlyweds’ dream vacation quickly takes a nightmarish turn when they discover a body. John reaches out to Angela and Nyla, spurring the detective duo to travel to the island as backup in this unexpected investigation.

Meanwhile, and equally surprising, Tim and Celina will team up to uncover the identity of a John Doe. Celina dodged riding with Tim on The Rookie Season 6 Episode 1, “Strike Back,” when she went with Nyla instead.

“Trouble in Paradise” will see how the very different characters work together.

Similarly, it seems as though Lucy will rely on Smitty to quiz her for her upcoming detective exam. While Lucy may not get the results she wants out of this study session (It’s Smitty, after all!), The Rookie will surely get a fun sequence out of it.

Brent Huff’s Smitty isn’t the only returning supporting character appearing on “Trouble in Paradise.” After her appearance on “The Hammer,” Angel Parker is back as Luna Grey, who seems also to be preparing for her next job — at the hospital.
