Preview — Ghosts Season 3 Episode 5: Carol and Pete Reunite in the Afterlife

Ghosts Season 3 Episode 5, “The Silent Partner,” introduces two very different but equally chaotic storylines.

Carol, having died on the property during Sam and Jay’s Halloween party, looks to be permanently checking into Woodstone. This is a fact that has Pete understandably upset now that he has to live out the rest of his after-life with the ex-wife who cheated on him with his best friend.

Pete, recognizing Carol might not know he is aware of the affair, wants to forgive his ex-wife for her infedelity to make the transition into the afterlife as smooth as possible for her.

But when he struggles to keep Carol’s betrayl in the past, Pete turns to his fellow ghosts for help defending his character even if it means exaggerating some details of their time togther.

Meanwhile, Jay risks losing the restaurant when the latest death on the property sends an important invester fleeing their deal.

Sam turns to the one ghost with financial currency — Isaac.

Unfortunately for her, Trevor steps in as Isaac’s financial advisor and encourages the Captain to reconsider his options. As money troubles cause a strain between the living and the dead, Jay finds himself in a standoff for the 10,000 Sam promised to Isaac.

Never a dull day at Woodstone. Thankfully this episode seems like a much needed return to calmer pastures after that unhinged Halloween episode.
