After Sam came clean to Abby about Trevor haunting the mansion, the new dad looks to strengthen his relationship with his daughter by showering her with generous gifts. Sadly, a Porsche can’t buy her happiness.
It’s one of many lessons Trevor will have to learn during this outing.
Things go from strained to worse when he finds out Abby plans to study poetry rather than something more secure like finance. With no one to hide behind this time, Trevor has to navigate a child who wants to follow their passion with the help of his ghostmates.
Meanwhile, Sam celebrates no longer having to cover for Trevor with Abby by taking a spin in his Porsche. Unfortunately for everyone else, Sam soon becomes fully immersed in the fast life.
The lifestyle change raises red flags for Jay’s co-workers as they start to question if the couple is really as broke as they say they are.

What Happened on the Previous Episode?
Previously on Ghosts, Trevor scored his daughter, Abby, a job working at Jay’s restaurant so he could spend more time with her. The gig started off rough for Sam when Abby made it clear she still resents her for revealing Trevor was her real dad. Sam once again takes the blame for a series of Trevor’s actions when he meddles in his daughter’s work drama. To save Trevor’s relationship with his child, Sam reveals she can see ghosts and has Trevor prove it by moving a water bottle.
On the other side of the mansion, Isaac challenges Flower to a primary debate to see who will run against Dirk for reelection as ghost representative. Flower and the gang discover that if someone walks through her with a high tolerance for drugs, she becomes sober for a short period of time.
