Frank introduces a special “Shred’s Day” adventure to cheer Shred up on Animal Control Season 2 Episode 1, “Raccoons and Mutts.”
After Emily pined for Shred during Season 1 and ultimately decided to move forward with her feelings for Rick Doyle, Shred has to figure out how to move forward when he now believes “love doesn’t exist.”
However, it seems like Frank’s attempt to pull Shred from his wallowing leads Frank back to Yazmin, the “one who got away,” whom he mentions ghosted him in Season 1. As previously reported, Scrubs‘s Sarah Chalke will guest star as Yazmin, while Krystal Smith joins the comedy as Emily’s assistant, Bettany.
Meanwhile, the team — mostly Patel — is shocked to learn that Victoria is married, and her husband wants a divorce. Plus, Patel tries to satisfy his pregnant wife’s craving for movie theater popcorn.
Animal Control‘s season premiere will also see the team join forces at a bowling alley to catch some drunk raccoons, and it looks like Patel will wind up facing off against an animal who will, once again, go down swinging. It wouldn’t be Animal Control without Patel leaving a call with some battle scars, would it?
