Preview — Abbott Elementary Season 3 Episode 7: Abbott Welcomes a New Librarian

This next Abbott Elementary is for the library girlies!

Abbott Elementary Season 3 Episode 7, “Librarian,” features tons of fiction and friction as Janine puts her library pilot program into motion and welcomes a Librarian to the Abbott fold.

Cree Summer guest stars as said Librarian on what is sure to be a booked and busy outing for the school sitcom.

While Janine is excited to spearhead this new initiative for the district and shine a spotlight on the school’s underappreciated library space, her program causes tensions between one teacher and the new Librarian.

This causes Janine to become caught between the two parties as feelings escalate, straining her relationship with all staff involved.

Could the teacher in question be Barbara, given her unimpressed expression in Janine’s presence? Could this part-time Librarian make the staff already pulling double duty as Teacher-Librarians feel jitted?

We’ll have to wait for the new episode to get an accurate read on this one.

It is an episode that will also see Melissa and Jacob struggle to come to terms with their new home lives after breaking up with their significant others, Gary and Zach.

Episode description: Janine spearheads a pilot program that brings a librarian to Abbott; however, when friction arises with one of the teachers, it strains Janine’s relationships with both parties. Meanwhile, both Melissa and Jacob deal with some big changes at home.
