Wynonna Earp to Return with 90-Minute Special on Tubi

Earpers, Wynonna Earp is back!

Nearly three years after the series finale, Wynonna, Doc Holliday, Waverly Earp, and Nicole Haught will reunite for a 90-minute special on Tubi in late 2024. 

Vanity Fair exclusively broke the story after series creator Emily Andras shared the first page of the script for Wynonna Earp: Vengeance on Instagram. “More Earpin’ Wynonna, riding your way, bigger and badder than ever?” Andras wrote.

Wynonna Earp: Vengeance is penned by Andras, with Paolo Barzman returning to direct. 

“Doc and Wynonna have been on an adventure, and Waverly and Nicole have been at home in [the Earp hometown of] Purgatory, doing their thing,” Andras told Vanity Fair. As Earpers will surely remember, Waverly and Nicole got married on Wynonna Earp‘s series finale.

“I think it’s going to be really interesting to see, hopefully, what gets everybody home—maybe facing a challenge they’ve never faced before, something pretty intense,” Andras added.

“It’s all your favorite — hopefully — character moments, but also a little bit about growing up and sort of, like, being who you are now and earning all your choices,” Andras concluded.

Tubi shared a video on Instagram featuring Andras and the returning cast — Melanie Scrofano, Tim Rozon, Dom Provost-Chalkley, and Katherine Barrell. Other returning Wynonna Earp cast members will be revealed at a later date. 

“So we are coming back for a 90-minute special. It is a narrative. It is a brand new Earp story with all your favorite characters,” Andras said.

This Wynonna Earp: Vengeance special comes after the show, focusing on Wyatt Earp’s great-great-granddaughter, had a Season 5 commissioned by Syfy with former producers IDW Entertainment but wasn’t produced, as The Hollywood Reporter confirms.

Now, Wynonna Earp Season 4 Episode 12, “Old Souls,” is not the end. Wynonna Earp lives on!
