The Boys Season 4 Premiere Date Announced by Prime Video

The Boys will return with Season 4 just in time for summer!

The Emmy Award-winning drama series from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios returns on Thursday, June 13, on Prime Video.

The show’s eight-episode fourth season will kick off with three “mind-blowing episodes,” with new episodes streaming each week until the “epic” season finale on July 18. Since the day of the Season 4 finale is on Homelander’s birthday, Prime Video released new key artwork from the upcoming season in celebration. 

As previously reported, Prime Video released first-look images of Butcher and Homelander in November 2023.

The streamer released a teaser trailer for the fourth season at CCXP, the largest comic convention in the world, in December 2023. The nearly two-minute first look at the season sees Homelander compare himself to Ceaser in a quest to save democracy from the everyday people who will tear it apart themselves.

The Boys Season 4 sees “Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies,” per its synopsis.

“With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late,” it continues. So, suffice it to say, The Boys Season 4 finds the world on the brink.

Prime Video renewed the series based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson for Season 4 in June 2022. Its Godolkin University-set spinoff series, Gen V, scored a Season 2 renewal in October 2023.

The Boys Season 4 stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti. The upcoming season welcomes Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke, The Boys is executive produced by Ennis, Robertson, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn, Judalina Neira, Ken F. Levin, and Jason Nette.

Sony Pictures Television, Amazon MGM Studios with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures produce the series.
