Preview — Chicago Med Season 9 Episode 6: I Told Myself That I Was Done With You
Ever since his first appearance, Ripley has been trying to prove he is not the same kid that Charles used to treat. That gets a bit more complicated on Chicago Med Season 9 Episode 6, “I Told Myself That I Was Done With You,” as someone from his past shows up.
It is usually not recommended for doctors to treat someone they know personally, but Ripley goes against his better judgment and decides to take care of an old friend who has come into the ED. As his friend refuses treatment, things get heated between the two men.
Can Ripley keep his temper under control?

In the meantime, Zola is dealing with her own problems. Since joining Chicago Med, we have seen this doctor get in trouble after trouble. Even though her intentions are good, she doesn’t always see eye-to-eye with the rest of the team.
Now, on “I Told Myself That I Was Done With You,” things don’t go as she expects, and she must face the consequences. It makes us wonder if she will continue down the same path or try to adjust better to the rules at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center.
