Firehouse 51 is saying goodbye to one of their own on Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 1, “Barely Gone.” But who?

It’s been a long wait since the Chicago Fire Season 11 finale, which left us with some emotional cliffhangers. Mouch’s life hangs in the balance, Casey has proposed to Brett, and Kidd and Severide’s relationship seems to be standing on rocky ground.

The season premiere looks like it will address all of those cliffhangers, and the episode description notes that the team will say goodbye to one of their own.

News ahead of Season 12 revealed that both Kara Killmer, who plays Sylvie Brett, and Alberto Rosende, who plays Blake Gallo, will be exiting this season. So whether that “goodbye” is from one of those characters, Mouch, or someone else remains to be seen.

Some good news is that the promo shows that Severide is back, though the episode description notes that an arson case may test his relationship with Stella yet again.
