‘Found’ and ‘The Irrational’ Renewed for Season 2 at NBC
Found and The Irrational are only getting started!
NBC renewed the freshman dramas for Season 2. Both shows are in the midst of their debut seasons on the network.
Found Season 1 Episode 9, “Missing While Scamming,” aired on Tuesday, November 29, at 10/9c. The Irrational Season 1 is on hiatus until it returns with the final four episodes on Monday, January 29, at 10/9c.

After its episode on December 12, Found will go on hiatus until Monday, January 9, when it returns for the final two episodes of the season.
“These shows are a testament to the incredibly passionate work of our showrunners Nkechi Okoro Carroll (Found) and Arika Lisanne Mittman (The Irrational), both of whom have executed their visions flawlessly,” Lisa Katz, President, Scripted Content, NBCUniversal Entertainment, said.
“A huge thank you to the talented cast, producers, and crews for their tireless commitment and dedication, which has clearly paid off with audiences making these series must-see television on both NBC and next day on Peacock,” Katz continued.
The Irrational Season 1 Episode 1, “Pilot,” premiered on Monday, September 25, and Found Season 1 Episode 1, “Pilot,” premiered on Tuesday, October 3. NBC cites the former as “the #1 new show this season in total viewers” and the latter as “the #1 new drama this season in the 18-49 demo.”

Both shows are NBC’s top digital launches to-date across all major platforms. Plus, “Found and The Irrational are the #1 and #2 broadcast series, respectively, in total viewers this season among Black audiences,” per NBC.
Based on best-selling author Dan Ariely’s book Predictably Irrational, The Irrational stars Jesse L. Martin as the world-renowned professor of behavioral science, Alec Mercer.
The character lends his unique expertise to cases across government, law enforcement, and corporations, leading “him and the team on a series of intense, unexpected journeys to solve illogical puzzles and perplexing mysteries,” per the show’s synopsis.
The drama, produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, also stars Maahra Hill, Travina Springer, Molly Kunz, and Arash DeMaxi. Arika Lisanne Mittman, Mark Goffman, Sam Baum, and David Frankel executive produce The Irrational.

Found stars Shanola Hampton as public relations specialist Gabi Mosely, who once was one of the forgotten ones. Per the show’s synopsis, “In any given year, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the U.S. More than half that number are people of color that the country seems to forget about.”
Gabi, who is hiding a secret, and her crisis management team look out for those forgotten missing people.
Found also stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta, and Karan Oberoi. Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Sonay Hoffman, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, and Lindsay Dunn executive produce the show.
