NBC has announced midseason premiere dates for new and returning series, like Extended Family, American’s Got Talent: Fantasy League, those in the Dick Wolf universe, and Night Court.

America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League, Deal or No Deal Island, and Extended Family were all announced as part of NBC’s programming for the 2023/2024 season in May 2023.

“Building off the momentum of a strong fall, we’re entering midseason with a powerhouse schedule that leans into the strength of both beloved titles and new shows while also growing our audience across NBC and Peacock,” Frances Berwick, Chairman, NBCUniversal Entertainment, said.

“This season brings fresh takes on favorites from the first double-chair on The Voice, a new spin on America’s Got Talent and a tropical setting for Deal or No Deal Island, as well as the return of last season’s top comedy Night Court, Jon Cryer’s return to network television with Extended Family and the much-anticipated return of #OneChicago and the Law & Order franchise – all of which continue to establish NBC as a destination for our loyal fans,” Berwick added.

Before heading into the new year, NBC will premiere Extended Family on Saturday, December 23 at 8/7c, following the NFL game between Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. Night Court Season 2 will premiere afterward, beginning at 8:30/7:30c. However, both shows will call Tuesdays home in NBC’s programming schedule.

America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League premieres on New Year’s Day, and La Brea returns with its third season on Tuesday, January 9 at 9/8c.

Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med bring #OneChicago back to NBC on Wednesday, January 17, beginning at 8/7c, with Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order: Organized Crime premiering the following night on Thursday, January 18, also beginning at 8/7c.

In addition to their timeslots on NBC, all shows will be available to stream next day on Peacock. The remaining episodes of the current seasons of Quantum Leap, Lopez vs. Lopez, The Weakest Link, Password, That’s My Jam, and The Wall have yet to receive return dates.
