‘Selena + Chef’ Holiday Specials to Premiere on Food Network in November

Selena + Chef is cooking something special just for the holidays on Food Network.

All-star chefs Eric Adjepong, Alex Guarnaschelli, Michael Symon, and Claudette Zepeda will join Selena Gomez on Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays. The new episodes begin on Thursday, November 30, at 8/7c on Food Network.

The network will share exclusive sneak peeks and interviews on its social media accounts. Plus, the new episodes will also be available to stream on Max.

The lineup of episodes will see the musical artist, actor, businesswoman, and philanthropist call in experts to amp up her kitchen for the holidays. The four chefs will bring their favorite dishes and culinary wisdom to Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays.

“The holidays have always meant so much to me. It was an honor to have these amazing chefs in my kitchen to introduce some of their favorite foods and what makes the holidays special for them,” Selena Gomez said.

Selena and her best friend, Raquelle Stevens, will go through the “culinary paces” across the four specials. Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays Season 1 Episode 1, “Selena + Alex,” will see “Chef Alex Guarnaschelli and Selena prepare roast beef and “Chantilly” mashed potatoes for a tree-trimming party.”

Meanwhile, “Michael Symon pops by for a “Surf & Turf” Christmas as he and Selena tackle steaks and lobster” on Selena + Chef Home for the Holidays Season 1 Episode 2, “Selena + Michael.”

Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays Season 1 Episode 3, “Selena + Claudette,” sees Chef Claudette Zepeda plan “a Mexican feast with a traditional Latin Christmas dish of tamales and a unique twist on a historic salad.”

Finally, Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays Season 1 Episode 4, “Selena + Eric,” will ring in the New Year with Chef Eric Adjepong’s “brunch that includes Shrimp & Banana Grits and Malva Pudding. Special guest appearances by Gomez’s Papa, Nana, and sister Gracie make this a family affair.”

“With an incredible festive programming slate all season long, Food Network is the holiday destination for viewers and their families,” Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food, Warner Bros. Discovery, said.

“Offering special culinary moments is the way Food Network celebrates the holidays, so to have superstar Selena Gomez, who has more than 650 million fans on social media, open the door to her own home kitchen is a holiday dream come true for fans,” Ayala added.

While it has yet to be disclosed if the holiday episodes will be the same,  each chef highlights a different charity on Max’s Selena + Chef since its premiere in 2020.

As of August 2022, the streaming service shared that “the series has raised $400,000 for 26 nonprofit organizations.”

Gomez launched her beauty line Rare Beauty in 2019, announcing the Rare Impact Fund, “pledging to raise $100 million for mental health services for individuals in underserved communities.”

Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays is produced by Gomez for July Moon Productions, along with executive producers Eli Holzman and Aaron Saidman on behalf of Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC), showrunner Shauna Minoprio, and Melissa Stokes.
