Preview — ‘Loki’ Season 2 Races Against the Clock to Save the TVA
After two years off the clock, Loki is ready to return to work.
Season 2 opens with a new mess for our beloved trickster god to overcome. Loki was abducted and taken to the TVA as a rogue time-variant the first time around. However, this time, he isn’t attempting to escape the Time Variance Authority; he is trying to save it.
With a particular big bad’s promise to return and wreak havoc, the surviving TVA staff are the only thing standing between time and the end of it. Thus, Loki soon finds himself in a race to locate Sylvie and protect the new variant branches from rogue hunters.

As the reluctant hero of this series, Loki will need a team.
Leading this crew of time fighters is Owen Wilson’s Mobius. If you recall, he is a jet-ski-loving TVA agent and Loki’s biggest cheerleader. Next is Wunmi Mosaku’s reformed hunter B-15, who is determined to save fellow variants from destruction.
But there is one newcomer Marvel fans need to be ready for. Fresh off an Oscar win, Ke Huy Quan is joining the TVA as O.B., an adorable hermit hiding in the depths of the TVA basement as he awaits a visit from his friend Mobius.
And in the spirit of giving the faceless workers of the TVA more screen time this season, the loveable Casey (played by Eugene Cordero) will return with a more significant role in Loki’s mission.

As the only Marvel Studios/Disney+ series to make it past limited series status, Loki has an opportunity to deliver the closure that has evaded these projects thus far.
Plus, the new outing is determined to up the stakes with more adventures through space and time, from flashy 1920s red carpet movie premieres to the nostalgia of a 1980 McDonald’s chain restaurant.
Ultimately, more of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is never something to bock at either.
