Love Is Blind Season 5 Episode 10 Recap: Big, Big Love
It’s the wedding day for our two couples on Love Is Blind Season 5 Episode 10, “Big, Big Love.” After ten days in the pods and a four-week engagement, the couples are facing the biggest decision of this entire experiment.
Do they want to spend the rest of their lives with their fiance?
Buckle up as we unpack everything that happened between our two couples.

Izzy and Stacy
Up until this point, Izzy and Stacy seemed to be a couple that wasn’t overly occupied with drama. They both arrive on their wedding day excited, and Izzy is sure that he’s going to say “yes” at the alter to spending the rest of his life with Stacy.
Stacy, however, isn’t so sure. While she and her sisters talk a lot about how Izzy would fit in with their family, Stacy is still in her head about the fight they had about his credit score.

While she mulls it over, Izzy is with his groomsmen, and he decides to write Stacy a letter. The letter gets Stacy choked up, and she reflects on how this is the first note that he’s sent her unprompted.
When it comes to the wedding, the two walk down the aisle in front of their friends and family, and they say tender, genuine words to each other. When it comes time for the “I do”s, the priest starts with Izzy, who says “I do” without hesitation.
Then comes Stacy’s vows. She pauses for a while and then says that she can’t say yes now because she needs more time.

Stacy’s decision is somewhat surprising, but the couple kisses and hugs at the altar before Stacy walks out. The two proceed to unpack everything that has happened and while Stacy wants to give their relationship more time Izzy doesn’t want to wait, feeling like he’s given everything he could to this relationship.
In the end, the two walk away separately with both of them believing that love is blind, but one unwilling to gamble with the rest of her future.
Milton and Lydia
Milton and Lydia are the couple that has had the rockiest road. Their relationship suffered even more friction once they got out into the real world, but the two arrive at their venue ready to commit to each other.

During their prep, Lydia tells her friends about the fight they had during their last date. However, she maintains that Milton loves her for her genuine self and that he’s everything she wants.
Her friends express some final concerns about him being 24, reflecting on how they used to behave at that age. Lydia says that Milton is much more mature and that she doesn’t think about his age anymore.
Meanwhile, Milton has arrived at the venue still feeling certain about his decision. However, he also hasn’t written his vows, and his dad is offering sage wisdom without telling him exactly what to do.
It’s hard to tell in that m moment what the audience is supposed to read into their conversation, but it feels like a subtle warning to think carefully before he steps into the next phase of his life.

With the pre-wedding prep down, it’s time to head down the aisle. The two meet at the alter, and Milton asks the priest if he should button his jacket, showing just a little bit of his youth.
The two get through the ceremony, exchanging vows that even make Milton’s sister tear up!
Then it’s time for the “I do”s. Lydia goes first and says “I do,” without hesitation. When it comes to Milton’s turn, he seems to hesitate for a moment before he says “I do” as well, and the two prematurely kiss.
And of course, someone shouts, “He didn’t tell him to do that yet!” since the ceremony isn’t finished and they don’t have wedding rings. The two split apart, get their rings and then share their first “official” kiss as husband and wife.

In a post-wedding scene, Milton and Lydia share a champagne toast. Lydia takes charge of the situation opening the bottle, and then the two interlink arms. Milton chugs his champagne like it’s a shot, and Lydia laughs.
The two smile happily as they enter a reception and cut their wedding cake.
Loose Threads
The season wouldn’t be complete without tying up some loose threads. In between the final shots of Lydia and Milton, the series takes a moment to catch up with the other major players of the season.

First is Taylor, who says that a part of her does regret not going through with the experiment and meeting JP’s family. However, her heart tells her that she did the right thing. In turn, JP mentions that he knows he has trouble communicating in relationships and is working on it.
