The Fall of the House of Usher Trailer Released by Netflix
It’s time for The Fall of the House of Usher.
The next series from Mike Flanagan, the creator of The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass, this new horror drama follows the “ruthless siblings” Roderick (Bruce Greenwood) and Madeline (Mary McDonnell) Usher, who “have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of wealth, privilege, and power,” per its synopsis.

“But past secrets come to light when the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth.” The Fall of the House of Usher‘s eight-episode limited series premieres on Thursday, October 12, on Netflix, per TV Line.
That mysterious woman is Carla Gugino’s Verna, who Netflix’s TUDUM reveals is “a demonic shape-shifter” “whose origins can be traced back to a — let’s just say — very famous Poe character.”
The Fall of the House of Usher‘s two-minute trailer shows that Verna, who describes herself as “Consequence,” knows all and puts a target on the Usher family.
Meanwhile, the Usher family also faces legal ramifications from Carl Lumbly’s Auguste Dupin, who says, “The Usher crime family stands stronger and darker than ever before.”

The Fall of the House of Usher also stars Mark Hamill, Michael Trucco, T’Nia Miller, Paola Núñez, Henry Thomas, Kyliegh Curran, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli, Kate Siegel, Sauriyan Sapkota, Zach Gilford, Willa Fitzgerald, Katie Parker, Malcolm Goodwin, Crystal Balint, Aya Furukawa, and DANIEL JUN.
Additional ensemble members include Matt Biedel, Ruth Codd, Annabeth Gish, Igby Rigney, and Robert Longstreet.
Flanagan serves as editor, writer, director, showrunner, and executive producer on The Fall of the House of Usher.
Michael Fimognari directs the show and serves as its director of photography. Trevor Macy executive produces, while Emmy Grinwis writes and serves as an executive producer.
