Shining Vale’s Haunting Season 2 Trailer Released by STARZ

STARZ’s hit horror comedy Shining Vale dares to make a haunting return in its Season 2 trailer.

The trailer teases what’s to come for Pat (Courtney Cox) after Season 1’s cliffhanger finds her in a psychiatric hospital for trying to murder her family with an ax after a demon named Rosemary possessed her body. The sophomore season aptly premieres linearly on Friday, October 13, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on STARZ in the U.S. and Canada. 

Shining Vale Season 2 premieres on Friday, October 13, at midnight ET on the STARZ app, all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms, and on the LIONSGATE+ streaming platform in the U.K. and Ireland.

New episodes will stream weekly on Fridays at midnight on the STARZ app and on-demand platforms and air weekly on the STARZ linear platform.

After surviving extensive Electroshock Therapy, Shining Vale Season 2 picks up four months after Season 1 when Pat returns home to a book tour for Rosemary’s Revenge and a husband who can’t remember her and children who don’t need her. Not to mention, the family’s new neighbor looks identical to Rosemary.

“Meanwhile, the house starts to reveal the shocking secrets of its dark past. Every mother feels like they live in an insane asylum, but Pat may be right!” Shining Vale‘s Season 2 description details.

STARZ shares that the show’s upcoming season “explores what’s in store for the Phelps family as they continue to be haunted by ghosts while Pat struggles to live with mental illness among a broken family, battling demons both internally…and externally.”

Shining Vale made, its two-episode series debut in March 2022, ending its season in April 2022. As previously reported, STARZ renewed the comedy for Season 2 in May 2022.

Alongside Cox, the show stars Greg Kinnear, Mira Sorvino, Gus Birney, Merrin Dungey, and Dylan Gage and features Judith Light, Allison Tolman, and Sherilyn Fenn.

Co-created by Jeff Astrof and Sharon Horgan, Astrof from Other Shoe Productions, Horgan and Clelia Mountford from Merman, Aaron Kaplan, and Melanie Frankel from Kapital Entertainment executive produce Shining Vale.

Warner Bros. Television and Lionsgate Television, in association with Other Shoe Productions, Merman, and Kapital Entertainment, produce the series.
