Wilderness Teases Killer Reputation with New Trailer Featuring Taylor Swift’s Song
Prime Video’s Wilderness took the Internet by storm with its teaser trailer that features the global debut of “Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)” from Taylor Swift’s yet-to-be-released album Reputation (Taylor’s Version).
The re-recorded song sets the tone for the UK Original thriller series that debuts on Friday, September 15, on Prime Video.
Wilderness‘ teaser trailer sees Liv (Jenna Coleman) discover that her husband Will (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) is having an affair, assumedly with Ashley Benson’s character.

Swift’s song joins the psychological thriller’s female team. Based on B.E. Jones’ novel, Marine Dickens created Wilderness for TV. So Yong Kim directs, and Elizabeth Kilgarriff executive produces.
Amazon Prime Video greenlit the series in September 2021. “Wilderness is pure, unadulterated fun, where our heroine Liv says the things you wish you had the guts to, does the things you can only fantasise about, and lives by her own increasingly outrageous set of rules,” Dickens said at the time.
“I’m thrilled to bring the Prime Video audience along for her ride,” Dickens added.
“We’re so excited to be bringing Marnie’s gripping and provocative scripts to life with the fantastic team at Amazon. Taking B.E. Jones’ brilliant story and super-charging it for the screen, Wilderness asks just how far you would go to get revenge on the person who ripped out your heart,” Elizabeth Kilgarriff said.

Coleman and Jackson-Cohen joined Wilderness in June 2022, with Benson, Eric Balfour, Claire Rushbrook, Marsha Stephanie Blake, and Morgana Van Peebles joining the cast the following month.
Per Prime Video, Wilderness‘ synopsis reads as follows:
Liv becomes the actress starring in Will’s bad dreams after she learns about his betrayal, and her heartbreak is swiftly followed by another emotion: fury. The couple embark on an American road trip Liv’s fantasised about since she was little, from the Grand Canyon on through Yosemite, before ending up with a hedonistic weekend in Las Vegas. For Will, it’s a chance to make amends; for Liv, it’s a very different prospect—a landscape where accidents happen all the time. The perfect place to get revenge. Look what he made her do…
Wilderness‘ teaser trailer puts that plot into motion with only a few lines breaking through Swift’s song: Will saying, “It was one night,” and Liv asking, “We trust each other, right?”

Writer, creator, and executive producer Marnie Dickens spoke about the show’s themes when the streaming service released first-look images last month.
“Who doesn’t know someone who’s been cheated on? That gut punch on discovery, the trail of paranoia and suspicion it leaves behind, the difficulty of trusting again,” Dickens said.
“It’s enough to tip anyone over the edge. And that’s where we meet our heroine, Liv, as she’s lied to over and over by the man she loves. Of course she wants revenge, and I, for one, hope she gets it,” Dickens concluded.
