Still Up Trailer Released by Apple TV+
Lisa and Danny’s love lies are as complicated as their sleep schedules in the trailer for Apple TV+’s comedy series Still Up.
The eight-episode “almost romantic comedy” starring Antonia Thomas and Craig Roberts will debut with a three-episode series premiere on Friday, September 22. New episodes will stream weekly on Apple TV+ through October 27.
Still Up is set in Danny and Lisa’s “after-hours world of insomniacs.” Per the show’s logline, the pair “have no secrets except their feelings for each other.”

The trailer shows how those lines blur the hours between day and night. Even though Lisa helps Danny get on a dating app, her frequent calls ruin a date.
Meanwhile, Lisa’s boyfriend feels her insomnia strains their relationship because they never sync up long enough to spend meaningful time together.
For Danny and Lisa, though, those late and early hours are peak times for communication, even if it is about whether cows attack and kill. (They do.)
Whether it be about all of their tried-and-failed remedies (hypnotism, acupuncture, or pills that make everything but cabbage taste of cabbage), nothing can crack their sleep cycle.

Despite their best efforts, Lisa says she hasn’t slept in two months. But Still Up‘s trailer shows how close Danny and Lisa have grown during that time.
The trailer ends with a fitting and albeit romantic quote from Danny: “All it takes is that one person to really see you.”
Alongside Thomas and Roberts, Still Up stars the ensemble cast of Blake Harrison, Lois Chimimba, Luke Fetherston, and Rich Fulcher.
Steve Burge and Natalie Walter co-created and wrote Still Up, with Bryce Hart also writing on the show and John Addis directing. Various Artists Unlimited produces the show for Apple TV+, and Paul Schlesinger and Phil Clarke executive produce. Arabella McGuigan produces.
