All Rise is coming to a close. The legal drama will return with its final ten episodes beginning next month.

TV Line reports that the first of All Rise‘s final run will premiere on Saturday, September 16, at 9/8c on OWN.

The show, starring Simone Missick as Judge Lola Carmichael and produced by Warner Bros. Television, originally aired for two seasons on CBS, which canceled the show in May 2021. OWN revived the series for Season 3 in September 2021.

All Rise has been a great performer, achieving strong ratings and growing its share from season one to two. “Featuring a strong character front and center, Judge Lola Carmichael’s story reflects our audience with powerful affirmation,” Tina Perry, President of OWN, said at the time, per Variety.

“A special thanks to Warner Bros. Television and our incredible showrunner and longtime partner Dee Harris-Lawrence. We can’t wait to get started on season three and bring this show back for long-standing and new fans alike,” Perry added.

Perry shared similar sentiments about the courthouse drama about its ending. ” We are extremely proud of the positive impact All Rise has made in showcasing strong, accomplished Black female characters,” OWN president Tina Perry said in a statement, per The Wrap.

“We are so grateful to all of our creative collaborators and wish to thank the talented cast and crew for their dedication and incredible work on the series,” Perry concluded.

After airing its first two seasons to build up to the new season, the show aired its first episode on OWN with All Rise Season 3 Episode 1, “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’,” in June 2022. The first half of its third season concluded with the suspenseful All Rise Season 3 Episode 10, “Fire and Rain,” airing in August 2022.

All Rise follows the lives of judges, prosecutors, and public defenders who work with bailiffs, clerks, and police to award justice to the people of Los Angeles amidst a flawed legal system. One of whom is Judge Lola Carmichael.

She is “a highly regarded and impressive former deputy district attorney who has shown she doesn’t intend to sit back on the bench, but instead leans in, pushing the boundaries and challenging the expectations of what a judge can be,” per OWN‘s synopsis of the series.

All Rise also stars Wilson Bethel, Jessica Camacho, J. Alex Brinson, Ruthie Ann Miles, Lindsay Mendez, Lindsey Gort, and Marg Helgenberger, with recurring stars Samantha Marie Ware, Paul McCrane, Suzanne Cryer, Roger Guenveur Smith, Christian Keyes, and Ian Anthony Dale.
