Per its description, Zombies: The Re-Animated Series keeps “the spirit and jam-packed music of the movies, find the friends encountering new monsters — a carnivorous plant monster, horrifying mega-cricket and even evil clones — while dealing with school and new experiences like a never-ending summer time loop.”

Donnelly and Manheim, who unveiled a first look at their animated characters, teased what fans can expect from Zombies: The Re-Animated Series shorts. Donnelly shares that they chronicle “all the chaos that ensues, like, every sing day at Seabrook.”

“It’s like the stuff that you don’t see in the movies,” Donnelly adds.

Upon the reveal of their characters, Donnelly and Manheim give their stamps of approval, appreciating the details like Addison’s hair that honors how she’s part Alien.
