Good Omens Season 2 Trailer Released by Prime Video
After an eternally long wait, Prime Video unveiled the Good Omens Season 2 trailer before its premiere next month.
As previously reported, Sheen’s angel Aziraphale and David Tennant’s demon Crowley will return in the six-episode season that premieres on Prime Video on Friday, July 28.
The streaming service revealed that Good Omens Season 2 would extend beyond the bestselling source material of the same name by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

Per its synopsis, the upcoming season will “illuminate the ineffable friendship between Aziraphale a fussy angel and rare-book dealer, and the fast-living demon. Having been on Earth since The Beginning, and with the Apocalypse thwarted, the duo are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho.”
However, as the new Good Omens trailer and poster show, Jon Hamm’s archangel Gabriel disrupts that peace when he arrives at Aziraphale’s bookshop’s door with no memory — and no clothes.
“While Crowley is leery as to why the archangel has come to the bookshop, Aziraphale is keen to solve the mystery behind Gabriel’s condition. However, hiding the archangel from both Heaven and Hell quickly disrupts their lives in unforeseen ways.” To solve this mystery, Aziraphale and Crowley will need to work together.
The trailer teases how this time-traveling mystery will take Good Omens from before The Beginning to biblical times, grave robbing in Victorian Edinburgh, the Blitz of 1940s England, all the way through to the modern day.

Alongside Sheen, Tennant, and Ham, Good Omens Season 2 stars Doon Mackichan as archangel Michael and Gloria Obianyo as archangel Uriel.
The sophomore season will also see stars from Season 1 return in new roles, like Miranda Richardson as demon Shax, Maggie Service as Maggie, and Nina Sosanya as Nina. New cast members joining Good Omens include Liz Carr as angel Saraqael, Quelin Sepulveda as angel Muriel, and Shelley Conn as demon Beelzebub.
Neil Gaiman continues as Good Omens‘ executive producer and co-showrunner, along with executive producer Douglas Mackinnon, who also returned to direct all six episodes.
Rob Wilkins of Narrativia, representing Pratchett’s estate, John Finnemore, and BBC Studios Productions’ head of comedy Josh Cole also executive produce, with Finnemore serving as co-writer alongside Gaiman. Amazon Studios, BBC Studios Productions, The Blank Corporation, and Narrativia produce Good Omens Season 2.
