Laci Mosley and Jaidyn Triplett Talk ‘iCarly’ Season 3 [Interview]
iCarly has been a fan-favorite TV series since its infancy on Nickelodeon. As the reboot moves into Season 3 on Paramount+, there are many things fans are looking forward to.
Carly’s best friend, Harper, and Freddie’s daughter, Millicent have a front-row seat to the drama that is Carly and Freddie’s friendship — which fans are hoping will become more.
I recently spoke with both Laci Mosley and Jaidyn Triplett about what viewers can expect from Season 3 and what they find most relatable about their respective characters. (You can watch the full interview below.)

As any fan knows, iCarly is iconic for releasing fun songs that both tell a story and convey emotion. Often these songs are extremely silly in nature to take a more serious moment down a peg or two.
Triplett reminded us that her character already has a song about requiring payment if she is to educate non-black individuals. Mosley countered with her own song idea, “I feel like if Harper had a song it would have to be something like Fashion Killer, Fashion Serial Killer, Fashion Murderer.”
“We gotta get the EP together,” Mosley stated and Triplett nodded and laughed in agreement.

The one thing on everyone’s mind is obviously the potential for Carly and Freddie to finally cross that threshold from friends to romantic partners. With Harper and Millicent being extremely important to both sides of this coupling they could have a lot to say about the situation.
“I think that eventually, Harper would be supportive. It’s just that Harper’s seen Carly have some rough romantic situations. Like a whole love triangle. Some real weird ones, some not smart ones,” Mosley said.
“Freddie’s her dad, and I feel like she’s protective, not overprotective, just protective over him,” Triplett added. “So, I think maybe she will warm up.”t

These two women were eager to find the most exciting words to describe the coming third season. If their words are anything to go on we are in for a wild ride.
“I would say wild, funny, — no that’s vague, hilarious, relatable,” Triplett said.
Meanwhile, Mosley went with, “dramatic, suspenseful, and goofy.”
It seems we have plenty to look forward to!
