iCarly Sets Season 3 Premiere Date and Counts Down to Creddie in Trailer
In 5, 4, 3, 2…
Paramount+ announced that iCarly Season 3 will return with a two-episode premiere on Thursday, June 1. New episodes will be available to stream weekly on Thursdays.
iCarly Season 2 Episode 10, “iThrow A Flawless Murder Mystery Party,” debuted last June and left the characters with quite a cliffhanger — Pearl says that Miranda Cosgrove’s Carly and Nathan Kress’ Freddie “are clearly in love with each other.”

So, in the highly anticipated season, “adulting continues to be complicated for Carly and her friends. Carly and Freddie struggle to redefine their relationship (#Creddie), Spencer seeks a return to his roots, and Harper’s reunion with an old rival leads to an unexpected outcome,” per the season’s synopsis.
Entertainment Tonight unveiled an exclusive first look at the season, including some new photos that tease how Carly is coping with the news that Freddie is still with Pearl. Still, Pearl is suspicious of Carly and Freddie’s relationship.
The trailer teases that the couple is in a good place, despite their rocky patch at the end of Season 2. Meanwhile, Carly reels from her newly-realized feelings for Freddie after he expresses his interest in focusing on their friendship.
Freddie tells Carly, “No matter what awkward phase of Carly/Freddie-dom we’re in, I am always going to be there for you.” Unsurprisingly, Carly’s manager Paul, played by Drake & Josh and How I Met Your Father‘s Josh Peck, sees Carly’s feelings and the potential for a love triangle to boost the web show’s ratings.

The new footage ends with what appears to be an immaculately designed love confession on Carly’s behalf that surprises Freddie. Finally, after nearly two decades, Creddie could become a reality when iCarly Season 3 premieres on Paramount+ next month.
Beyond the Creddie of it all, iCarly‘s new season teases plenty of cameos from characters that appeared on the original series with the same name that aired from 2007 to 2012 on Nickelodeon.
The trailer shows glimpses of Jeremy Rowley as Lewbert, Reed Alexander as Nevel Papperman, and, of course, more of March Scheer as Mrs. Benson. However, the most deep-cut reference to the original show comes in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance by Big Time Rush‘s James Maslow.
Before BTR’s James Diamond, Maslow appeared as Shane on iCarly Season 2 Episode 1, “iSaw Him First,” where Carly and Sam fought over Shane until he fell down the elevator from the iCarly studio to the basement and wound up in the hospital. The trailer suggests Shane makes a full recovery — if Maslow reprises his role.

The Paramount+ series also stars Jerry Trainor as Spencer, Laci Mosley as Harper, and Jaidyn Triplett as Millicent.
Ali Schouten-Seeks, Phill Lewis, and Cosgrove executive produce iCarly, with Nickelodeon Studios producing the show. Schouten serves as showrunner. Trainor, Kress, and Alissa Vradenburg serve as producers.
Internationally, iCarly Season 3 will exclusively premiere on Paramount+ in Latin America and Brazil on Sunday, June 25, and Friday, August 25, in Italy, France, Germany, and Switzerland.
The premiere date in South Korea will be announced at a later date.
