Preview — The Conners Season 5 Episode 20: What’s So Funny About Peas, Love, and Understanding
The school year is winding down for Mark and so the pressure to get him into college amps up for the family. On The Conners Season 5 Episode 20, “What’s So Funny About Peas, Love, and Understanding,” Darlene and Ben band together to figure out a solution.
Eventually, Darlene does come upon an answer, even if it’s not the most conventional. The family rallies behind her in an attempt to get Mark everything he’s ever wanted because that’s what this family does best.

Meanwhile, despite their previously ruffled feathers, Louise tries to assist Becky in meeting a new guy. At her side is Jackie who is just as invested in her niece’s happiness as Louise is in smoothing things over with her step-daughter.
As it always does, this plan is far from smooth sailing for the pair but, in the end Becky does agree to a date. Will this one be the right kind of guy for Becky or will he also fail to meet her needs?
