Preview — Abbott Elementary Season 2 Episode 18: Teacher Appreciation
Viewers will finally meet Janine’s infamous sister, Ayesha, on Abbott Elementary Season 2 Episode 18, “Teacher Appreciation.”
After numerous references and phone calls, there is a lot of anticipation for Ayesha’s arrival. Based on what we know about Janine’s relationship with her sister, this visit will probably be a little tense, at least on Janine’s part.
Janine makes things even more uncomfortable by inviting the Abbott teachers — including Gregory — over for a game night. To paraphrase Erica on Abbott Elementary Season 2 Episode 17, “Mural Arts,” Janine is a dork, but she’s messy, so things are likely to get really weird really fast.
And that’s before we even consider the still very much unresolved feelings between Gregory and Janine.
Elsewhere on the episode, Abbott celebrates Teacher Appreciation Day. To show its appreciation, the district gives the school tickets to a 76ers game. But of course, they only give them two tickets and leave it to the staff to decide who gets to go to the game.
The smart money is on Ava or Melissa getting the tickets, right?
