Blue Bloods Renewed for Season 14 by CBS
It’s official! The Reagan family is coming back in Blue Bloods Season 14 on CBS.
The news comes after the long-running drama series was notably absent from CBS’ renewal of nine other series, including CSI: Vegas and NCIS: Hawai’i.
Per the series’ synopsis, Blue Bloods stars Tom Selleck and follows “a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement.” The show debuted in 2010 and premiered its thirteenth season last October on CBS.

As previously reported, Blue Bloods‘ Season 13 finale will air on Friday, May 19, at 10/9 c on CBS.
While there is still no news about S.W.A.T., which is in its sixth season, or East New York which debuted on CBS this year, Deadline reports that Blue Bloods‘ renewal comes after “the cast and producers have agreed to salary reductions in order to keep the show going.”
CBS cites the show as “Friday’s #1 primetime program and the #3 broadcast drama with 9.54 million viewers.”
“With live +35-day multiplatform viewing, Blue Bloods scores more than 11 million viewers an episode,” with CBS confirming that “Blue Bloods‘ multiplatform streaming numbers are based on Paramount+ and CBS TVE (CBS.com/CBS app).”

“Blue Bloods has dominated Friday nights since its premiere and remained an important anchor for CBS’ winning lineup,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment.
“Led by the outstanding Tom Selleck and an incredible cast and creative team, viewers continue to embrace the Reagans, their law enforcement family, and the series’’ dramatic storytelling. We can’t wait to pull a chair up to the Reagan family dinner table for another fantastic season,” Reinsenbach added.
Blue Bloods also Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez, and Vanessa Ray. Kevin Wade, Siobhan Byrne-O’Connor, Ian Biederman, and Dan Truly serve as executive producers. CBS Studios produces the series.
