David Ramsey, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Sendhil Ramamurthy to Reprise Roles on ‘The Flash’ Season 9
The Flash‘s final season will see more familiar faces and family reunions as David Ramsey, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Sendhil Ramamurthy will reprise their roles in Season 9.
According to Deadline, the trio will guest star as John Diggle/Spartan, Wally West/Kid Flash, and Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork, respectively, on The Flash Season 9 Episode 9.
As previously reported, The Flash‘s final run will debut on Wednesday, February 8, at 8/7c on The CW.

Ramsey, Lonsdale, and Ramamurthy aren’t the only returning characters to be featured in the upcoming season. Nicole Maines will reprise her Supergirl role of Nia Nal/Dreamer, too.
Like showrunner Eric Wallace did for that announcement, TV Line shared that Wallace released statements about the trio returning to the Arrowverse.
“As one of the legacy Arrowverse characters who helped start it all, John Diggle holds a special place in our hearts, as well as the fans. Plus, the commanding presence and commitment to excellence actor/director David Ramsey brings to the screen each-and every time is truly inspiring,” Wallace said.
“So, of course, it was a no-brainer to have Diggle join Team Flash in our final season! So, get ready for a very emotional reunion as John Diggle aka Spartan helps protect Central City alongside Team Flash one, last time,” he continued.

Though Ramsey has reprised a multiversal version of the role on Superman & Lois, the Arrowverse hasn’t seen Lonsdale as Wally West since The Flash Season 6 Episode 14, “Death of the Speed Force.”
“Kid Flash isn’t just another speedster — he’s a beloved part of our Team Flash family. So as soon as we knew he was coming back, we set out to create a special and heartfelt story for his return. The result is a brilliant performance from Keiynan that showcases a side of Wally West you’ve never seen before,” Wallace commented.
Ramamurthy’s Ramsey Rosso was also last seen in the same season on The Flash Season 6 Episode 17, “Liberation.”
“Ever since Sendhil turned in such a brilliantly haunting and unforgettable performance as the tortured Ramsey Rosso in Season 6, we’ve been looking for a way to bring him back,” Wallace shared.

“We also knew we wanted to have Ramsey play a part in Flash’s final race. Fortunately, everything came together, and now the villainous Bloodwork’s return will set into motion one of the Flash’s wildest and most emotional adventures yet,” he added.
The final season, which debuts next month, picks up one week after the events of The Flash Season 8 Episode 20, “Negative Part Two.”
Team Flash bands together to defeat a group of Rogues, but a new adversary challenges Barry Allen’s legacy once they do.
So, in their greatest — and final — battle, the quest to save Central City will push Barry and Team Flash to their limits.
