With Brian Tee confirmed to be exiting the series, we know that Ethan has one foot out of Gaffney’s door. Are he and April finally headed for a happily-ever-after? Wedding bells are around the corner.

There also still feels like there’s more to be said for Dean, who’s story has been teased through the first half of the season. Perhaps his story will be further established before the break.

The best fall finales wrap up stories from the first half of the season, and set up a second half that keeps viewers coming back for more. Only time will tell if Chicago Med can pull it off.
