Ian’s addiction continues to be a topic of worrisome on The Resident Season 6 Episode 4, “It Won’t Be Like This for Long,” as it begins to affect his presence at work. Does he really have it under control as he believes?

After The Resident Season 6 Episode 3, “One Bullet,” a closer look will be paid to him until his drug tests comes back negative. However, it looks like he will be struggling for the majority of the episode.
