Mythic Quest Season 3 Trailer and Premiere Date Released by Apple TV+

News

Mythic Quest is back in the first trailer for Season 3 on Apple TV+, and it has competition in Ian and Poppy’s new game at GrimPop Studios.

The streaming service announced that the 10-episode third season would premiere with the first two episodes on Friday, November 11, followed by one new episode weekly through January 6, 2023.

This announcement comes after Mythic Quest made its San Diego Comic-Con debut over the summer when Apple TV+ took six series to the event.

The workplace comedy created by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Megan Ganz debuted the first teaser for Season 3 at San Diego Comic-Con

The trailer released by Apple TV+ today digs deeper into what fans can expect in Season 3, like GrimPop, a new era for Mythic Quest under David’s leadership, and Brad’s out of jail and a janitor.

Per the description, “as Ian and Poppy navigate the gaming world and their partnership at the newly formed GrimPop Studios, Dana is forced to play mediator to her bosses’ incessant bickering.”

The trailer shows Dana in action as Poppy assumes that Dana takes her calls for her — as if she gets any — because Poppy lost her phone years ago.

“Back at Mythic Quest, David settles into his new role as the boss, where he truly finds himself in charge for the first time with Jo returning as his assistant — more loyal and militant than ever; and Carol attempts to figure out where she fits in after a new promotion.”

David plans to bring Mythic Quest to Hollywood, something Ian has always wanted to do but never succeeded. That move includes bringing Joe Manganiello in as a version of himself to portray Ian in the game.

Manganiello is one of Mythic Quest‘s guest stars in the upcoming season. Others include Lindsey Kraft and Casey Sander.

Meanwhile, “At Berkeley, Rachel struggles to balance her morals with capitalism, while a post-prison Brad tries to return to society as a reformed man.”

Mythic Quest stars McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, who also executive produces, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis, and Naomi Ekperigin.

Ekperigin, who plays Carol in MQ’s Human Resources department, was upped to a series regular for the third season.

One familiar face who will not return to Mythic Quest is F. Murray Abraham, who played MQ’s writer C.W. Longbottom in the first two seasons.

Lionsgate, a producing company for the series, confirmed the news to Vanity Fair in April, stating, “F. Murray Abraham will not be returning to Season 3 of Mythic Quest.” Lionsgate added, “Beyond that, we do not comment on matters concerning personnel.”

With all the workplace shake-ups in Season 3, Mythic Quest will presumably address C.W. Longbottom’s noticeable absence.

TV Line notes that the announcement of his departure came six months after Apple TV+ renewed Mythic Quest for Season 3 and Season 4.

The series is executive produced by McElhenney and Day under their RCG banner, Michael Rotenberg and Nicholas Frenkel on behalf of 3Arts, and Jason Altman, Danielle Kreinik, and Gérard Guillemot for Ubisoft Film and Television. Ganz also executive produces.

Mythic Quest is produced for Apple TV+ by Lionsgate, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Ubisoft. The first two seasons of the Emmy-nominated series are streaming now.
