Following the monumental subway shooter case, the squad has their hands full when a current murder is linked to a previous one. Law & Order Season 22 Episode 4, “Benefit of the Doubt” dives into the complicated situation of having evidence that could potentially harm the case.
When a young woman is found dead, Cosgrove and Shaw realize that some elements of her death are similar to another death. This leads them to hunt for what could be a serial killer.
Price and Maroun have their work cut out for them when the evidence collected by Cosgrove and Shaw is deemed an illegal search and seizure.
