Mayor of Kingstown Adds Gratiela Brancusi and Lane Garrison to Season 2
Last year’s Paramount+ hit, Mayor of Kingstown is coming back soon for a second season. With this new season comes some new faces.
As of the first season, the cast includes Jeremy Renner, Dianne Wiest, and Hugh Dillan. According to Deadline’s exclusive report, Mayor of Kingstown will add Gratiela Brancusi and Lane Garrison in recurring roles to its already stacked roster.

Mayor of Kingstown centers on the McCluskey family made up of power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where incarceration is the only money-making industry in sight.
The family, which includes Renner’s Mike has to handle issues with systemic racism, inequality, and — most of all — corruption.
Mike leads the McCluskeys as they try their best to bring peace, justice, and order to a place with none.
Mayor of Kingstown‘s storytelling serves as a stark reminder that today’s prison systems remain corrupt and racist at their core — no matter where you are.

Yahoo reports that Brancusi will be joining the cast as a hostess by the name of Tatiana at the Cheetah Nightclub.
She isn’t new to a Taylor Sheridan production as he is the executive producer of Paramount+’s 1883 as well. Brancusi played Noemi on that show.
Reports have not revealed how big of a role Tatiana will play on Mayor of Kingstown, but being a woman in a man’s world is bound to bring its own dramas.

Meanwhile, Lane Garrison is another Sheridan transplant from his other successful show, Yellowstone, where Garrison played Ray.
On Mayor of Kingstown, Garrison will be playing the role of Carney, an associate of Mike’s and a high-ranking guard at the prison.
It’ll be interesting to see if Carney will play a perfect companion to Mike’s frame of mind and mission or a foil working against him.
There is no release date yet for Season 2, but it is currently in production.
