FOX Anthology Series ‘Accused’ Casts Margo Martindale, Rachel Bilson, and Others for Thrilling Episodes
Margo Martindale, Molly Parker, Rachel Bilson, and Jack Davenport join FOX’s upcoming anthology series, Accused.
The acclaimed Broadway actor J. Harrison Ghee and Ian Anthony Dale will also join the cast.
Accused, premiering on FOX in 2023, comes from Emmy Award-winning producer Howard Gordon (co-creator of Homeland and showrunner of 24) and Sony Pictures Television.

FOX also announced that renowned indigenous filmmaker Tazbah Rose Chavez will write and direct “a moving, timely” episode “about Native American activists protesting a uranium mine that’s been polluting tribal lands for decades.”
Chavez joins the previously announced slate of directors, including Brad Turner, Jonathan Mostow, Lee Rose, Marlee Matlin, Billy Porter, Michael Chiklis, Julie Herbert, Clark Johnson, and Michael Offer.
Accused is a collection of 15 episodes that examine “intense, topical, and exquisitely human stories of crime and punishment.” Based on BBC’s award-winning crime anthology, the series views the cases from the defendant’s point of view through flashbacks.
The network describes every episode as “a fast-paced provocative thriller, exploring a different crime, in a different city, with an entirely original cast.”

Accused‘s goal is that by the end of every episode, “audiences will discover how an ordinary person gets caught up in extraordinary circumstances, and how one impulsive decision can impact the course of that life – and the lives of others — forever.”
As previously reported, this series is a part of FOX’s 2022/2023 programming alongside Monarch, 9-1-1: Lone Star, and others.
Emmy-Award winner Margo Martindale and Emmy-Award nominee Molly Parker will appear in a “gripping” episode that tackles conspiracy theories.
Rachel Bilson, Jack Davenport, Reid Miller, and August Maturo are set for a “thrilling” episode that finds “a family caught in a troubling situation.” Billy Porter directs the episode “about a drag queen’s affair and its aftermath,” starring J. Harrison Ghee.

Hawaii Five-0‘s Ian Anthony Dale will appear in an episode about “a brother striving to protect his sibling who was injured in a devastating car accident as a child.”
Other stars appearing on the anthology series include Kyle Schmid, Blaine Kern, Chris Coy, Kristen Connolly, William Belli, Robert I. Mesa, Natalie Benally, Julia Chan, and Takashi Yamaguchi.
They join the previously announced cast of Michael Chiklis, Jill Hennessy, Oakes Fegley, Robert Wisdom, Whitney Cummings, Abigail Breslin, Aisha Dee, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Karen LeBlanc, Wendell Pierce, Jean-Michel Le Gal, Stephanie Nogueras, Joshua Castille, Megan Boone, Lauren Ridloff, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Baron Vaughn, Sean Kleier, Rhea Pearlman, Aaron Ashmore, and Daphne Rubin-Vega.
Alongside Gordon, Accused is executive produced by Alex Gansa and David Shore.
