Are you ready to keep cooking with Selena Gomez? Selena + Chef returns with its fourth season later this month on HBO Max.

The Season 4 premiere consists of three episodes that will drop simultaneously on Thursday, August 18.

After that, the season will unfold with three more episodes on August 25. The final four episodes debut on September 1.

The trailer, set to Kygo and Selena Gomez’s song “It Ain’t Me,” shows Selena, her best friend and roommate Raquelle Stevens, more of her friends, and her grandparents moving Selena + Chef to Malibu.

The new location coincides with Selena’s wish to step out of her comfort zone with new summer recipes from all-star chefs. As always, each chef will highlight a different charity during their time on Selena + Chef.

Per HBO Max, “To date, the series has raised $400,000 for 26 nonprofit organizations.” Some of the charities Selena + Chef has donated to since the show’s debut in 2020 include but are not limited to World Central Kitchen, NAACP, Feeding America, and Baby2Baby.

Last season, Ayesha Curry joined Selena to cook delicious watch-party meals and support the non-profit she started with her husband Stephen Curry — Eat, Learn, Play.

Selena Gomez’s history of supporting charities — and founding her own — is a well-known aspect of her platform. For example, the triple threat created the Rare Impact Fund in collaboration with her wildly successful makeup company Rare Beauty.

“Rare Beauty donates 1% of all sales to the Rare Impact Fund and raises additional funds with philanthropic foundations, corporate partners, and individuals in our community to increase access to mental health services in educational settings.”

Selena+Chef will mark the return of the French chef Ludo Lefebvre who appeared on the very first episode of the cooking series. Then, Lefebvre supported World Central Kitchen.

Soon after the series premiere, Lefebvre took to Twitter to thank Selena + Chef and HBO Max for their $10,000 donation to WCK. “The Selena + Chef show was so fun, but when we can help people as well it is that much better,” Lefebvre wrote.
